Visiting the Grounds

We are aware that many people of the local community find our property attractive for various recreation activities. We are happy to welcome you for a visit; however, If you enter the OLPH grounds for any use keep in mind that it is in fact PRIVATE PROPERTY. Please be courteous and adhere to the Community Guidelines outlined here.

Community Guidelines

Recreational Use

  • Be Safe

    • Visiting Hours - We ask that you kindly enter the property only during daylight hours.

    • Stay in the visible areas of our property. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our parishioners. Do not trespass in the wooded areas.

  • Be Respectful

    • We are an active community of faith. When services are taking place, please be respectful and do not engage in actions/behavior that will be disruptive such as loud noises or music, yelling, looking into parked vehicles, etc. The use of foul or derogatory language will not be tolerated.

  • Be Clean

    • Help keep our property clean. DO NOT LITTER.

      • All trash is CARRY IN - CARRY OUT!

      • Clean up after your pets!

    • Loitering, dumping, parking of commercial vehicles, vandalism, and entering the OLPH grounds after dark are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. All violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  • Come & See!

    • Whatever it is that brought you to OLPH, please come on in to pray with us and experience the fullness of our community for yourself!

    • While parked at the Grotto of Our Lady, please say a prayer for us!

Pokemon GO Players

We’ve come to learn that our Temple, a place of worship, is designated as a Gym in Pokemon GO. We continue to permit players to enter our private property to play Pokemon GO, but kindly ask that in addition to the OLPH Community Guidelines, players must also follow all aspects of the Pokemon GO Terms of Service, especially sections 3.2 & 3.3 to ensure the safety of parishioners and players.

While we are more than happy to welcome people on our property to play Pokemon GO, OLPH reserves the right to deny access to our property to anyone at anytime if the above guidelines are violated or if inappropriate, disrespectful, or illegal activity is noticed on our property. We thank you in advance for your continued respect for this holy space.
