Pokemon GO Players

We are aware that our Temple, a place of worship, is designated as a Pokemon Gym in Pokemon GO. As a community of faith, we wish to be welcoming to all people. We continue to permit players to enter our private property to play Pokemon GO, but kindly ask that individuals follow the OLPH Community Guidelines.
Learn more below.

Community Guidelines

Terms of Service.

The OLPH community asks that all aspects of the Pokemon GO Terms of Service be followed, especially sections 3.2 & 3.3 to ensure the safety of parishioners and players.

Be Respectful.

Please be mindful that we are an active community of faith. If you happen upon our property and it is obvious that we are in the middle of a service, please be respectful and do not engage in actions/behavior that will disrupt our services such as loud noises, yelling, looking into parked vehicles, etc. The use of foul or derogatory language will not be tolerated.

Be Clean.

Please help keep our property clean by not littering. Please note that all trash is CARRY IN - CARRY OUT!

Be Sensitive of Time.

As OLPH grounds are PRIVATE PROPERTY, we ask that you kindly enter the property only during daylight hours simply as a means of safety for you and our parish family.

Prayer.

While parked at the Grotto of Our Lady, please say a prayer for us!

Come and See!

If Pokemon GO has brought you to OLPH, please come on in to pray with us and experience the fullness of our community for yourself!

While we are more than happy to welcome people on our property to play Pokemon GO, OLPH reserves the right to deny access to our property to anyone at anytime if the above guidelines are violated or if inappropriate, disrespectful, or illegal activity is noticed on our property. We thank you in advance for your continued respect for this holy space.

Recreation Use

We are aware that many people of the local community find our property attractive for various recreation uses such as taking walks, dog walking, picture taking, private prayer, and other such activities. We ask that all those entering the OLPH grounds for recreation adhere to the above Community Guidelines in addition to the following general courtesies.

Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of the fact that you are on PRIVATE PROPERTY.

Please only walk/occupy the visible areas of our property. This is for your safety as well as the safety of our parishioners.

Loitering, dumping, parking of commercial vehicles, vandalism, and entering the OLPH grounds after dark are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. All violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We respect you, so please respect us!
